Jefferson County Council met in April to consider designating part of the former Jefferson County Proving Ground as an Economic Revitalization Area (ERA), hear a presentation from Norton King's Daughters EMS on a planned June groundbreaking, approve several budget transfers and appropriations, and take public comments — many focused on a proposed data center at JPG.
