Gila County Board of Supervisors met Jan. 27 in Globe. The board approved a $7,500 donation to the Rim Country Regional Chamber to help host a governor’s rural Arizona event and spent the bulk of the meeting on a staff presentation and wide-ranging discussion of the county’s short-term rental ordinance and building-code enforcement, including uneven historical enforcement in the Young area and next steps for a countywide transition.
