The Lamar County Board of Education met Sept. 9, 2025, at Sumrall Elementary and voted unanimously on the amended 2025–26 1120 operating budget, selected a workers'9 compensation insurance quote, terminated and re-advertised a security-camera RFP, approved several 16th-section leases and lease assignments, and approved a broad consent agenda including personnel changes and district purchases.
