At a March 3, 2026 Gilbert Town Council study session, staff presented proposed Land Development Code text amendment Z2512 to implement recent state law allowing "international headquarters" campuses with ancillary hotel, multifamily and retail uses; council members asked whether any projects are pending and staff said none are in the pipeline but the ordinance is required by the state and will appear on the regular evening agenda.
