Seaside City Council met April 16, 2026. Major items: a staff-directed change allowing one-way street designations by council resolution (with a 10‑day notice requirement) passed 4–1; council heard a lengthy briefing on Seaside Municipal Water capacity and the high cost of a backup well; the council approved a $3,000 Mayor’s Youth Fund grant for Solid Nation Co.; staff was asked to study a proposed Caltrans-underpass mural project and other public works pilots were approved.
