At its April 14, 2026 meeting, Phoenixville Borough Council swore in new firefighters and officers, heard sustained public comment urging a halt to recent public-tree removals and asking the borough to hire a certified arborist, approved multiple routine contracts and resolutions (including a $1.41 million Paradise Street Phase 2 contract contingent on county approval), and appointed three members to the recreation board.
