The Troutdale Parks Advisory Committee met April 15 to approve minutes, hear staff updates on parks projects (Beaver Creek Canyon slide, Sharon Nesbitt Heritage Park opening, new paid parking at Glen Auto Park), review the city's first Urban Forestry Management Plan and street-tree manual, discuss parks-and-trails connectivity and volunteer GIS mapping, and brainstorm alternative funding and a "friends of" group for Imagination Station. The committee approved the minutes, agreed to cancel the May meeting and set follow-ups on trail mapping, a summer park open house, and a short resident survey.
