Parks and Community Services director Chris Jensen briefed the Parks and Recreation Commission on fall programming, a $180,000 contract with Merced City School District to make youth flag football and basketball free, multiple capital projects including CP42 and Merced Applegate Zoo improvements, grants for inclusive playgrounds and park amenities, and coordination with the high-speed rail authority on facility planning.
