Representatives from Anchorage-area career academies and a U.S. magistrate judge described a partnership between the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska and Anchorage-area high schools that earned the court this year’s Board of Directors Award. Speakers said court visits, guest speakers and classroom engagement expose students to careers in law, probation and related fields.
