Council amended the agenda to add an item authorizing a letter of engagement with Howell Gibson & Hughes, approved several appointments and ordinances, held first reading and vote on a firearms ordinance (500-foot prohibition, first reading passed), approved funding for a conservation easement on the Simmons Tract, and heard public comments on the Cultural Protection Overlay and human services.
