At its Oct. 13, 2025 meeting at the Murphy Visitor Center, the Cherokee County Tourism Development Authority unanimously approved several funding and marketing items, including a $37,430 grant for the Cherokee County Historical Museum renovation, $15,000 for a Town of Murphy America 250th drone show, a Visit Smokies ad, wayside panels, and authorization up to $30,000 for an Our State annual contract.
