East Grand Forks City Council met Jan. 20, 2026. The council issued a proclamation recognizing Ed Roberts Day, approved two ground-mounted solar projects (one rezoning and one special-use permit), authorized $12.54 million in sales-tax-backed bonds for civic center and VFW Arena work, awarded a trail contract, approved parks equipment, authorized a hiring process for the Campbell Library director, approved claims totaling $857,476.33, and adjourned.
