Chair Sean Heman called the Dec. 15, 2025 regular board meeting to order, introduced board members (Elizabeth Wise, Leah Stanley, Eric Gaslinga), superintendent Dr. Theren Shudy and board secretary Randy Denham, announced public comment procedure and Iowa law limits on employee discussions.
Marshalltown Community School District board met Dec. 15, 2025. The board recognized alumni and students, approved course proposals and several contracts, heard an in-depth presentation on Marshalltown High School goals, received construction updates on Franklin Field and the Miller Middle School renovation (including phasing and an amendment to the design fee), approved purchase of two buses and replacement of chiller glycol, and approved the district's at-risk/dropout prevention budget and Modified Supplemental Amount request.
