At a March 12 committee meeting of the Government Operations & Military Affairs Committee, Deputy Commissioner Dan Basy and 911 Board Executive Director Barb Neil, co-chairs of the Public Safety Communications Task Force, presented recommended uses for recently appropriated funds including governance, CAD, cybersecurity/RapidSOS, and targeted land-mobile-radio improvements, and discussed timelines and reporting back to the legislature.
