Student advisors and dozens of Broward County Public Schools students told the school board they value classroom tests, want clearer purpose and fewer high-stakes state or district assessments, asked for more access to electives and counseling, and raised concerns about dress-code enforcement, cafeteria food and morning security procedures. The board and superintendent pledged follow-up and an after-action report.
