The Kennett Consolidated School District board met April 13, 2026. The board appointed Willa Hightower to a vacant seat, reviewed the superintendent's strategic-plan progress, approved several budgets and contracts, approved a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for school resource officers for additional negotiation with police chiefs, and released a proposed $112.4 million budget that would represent a 3.7% tax increase if adopted.
