Chair David Bullion called the meeting to order, read the chair's statement about the board's role under the Fredericksburg design guidelines and historic preservation ordinance, and invited anyone wishing to speak to sign up. He noted that board approvals do not replace required city permits.
The Fredericksburg City Historic Review Board met April 14, 2026 to review certificates of appropriateness for multiple properties, including demolition and accessory‑building requests, several door/porch changes, and a staff‑initiated review of a greenhouse. The board approved most staff‑recommended repairs and demolitions, denied requests to move doors or otherwise change primary elevations, and directed follow‑up on a staff‑initiated noncompliant accessory structure.
