Nehalem City Council on Jan. 13, 2025 adopted Ordinance No. 2025-01 to revise the flood hazard overlay to implement FEMA/NFIP Endangered Species Act obligations via a permit-by-permit approach, approved changes to the 8th Street Safe Routes to School project (4-inch wall plus handrail), and completed routine business including election of a council president and approvals of staff contracts and bills.
