The Village of Maywood Board of Trustees met Dec. 20, 2016 to approve the 2016 tax levy, multiple TIF escrow and zoning ordinances, routine warrants and payments, and two legal settlements totaling $222,000; the board also approved closing several TIF escrow accounts while Mayor Edwenna Perkins voted against one TIF closeout. The meeting included finance reports, public comments and requests for further outreach to businesses receiving incentives.
