Sammamish commissioners received a staff briefing on the 2026 human services grant cycle, learned that requests substantially exceed the city’s available funding, agreed on a process of commissioner subgroups to review applications, and discussed scheduling, conflict-of-interest procedures and monitoring visits. Staff said 91 program applications were received for Sammamish and that recommended subgroup meeting dates in June will be circulated.
