The Economic Development & Arts Subcommittee met April 8, 2026. Members approved minutes and a consent item, withdrew the Downtown Phoenix Entertainment District Implementation Plan for further stakeholder work, received new federal Opportunity Zones 2.0 guidance and a tight May 8 state nomination deadline, heard updates from several arts and cultural institutions about expansions and programs, and received an economic overview focused on land, infill and mall redevelopment.
