At its Feb. 3, 2026 regular meeting, the Gainesville City Council adopted the Guiding Gainesville Downtown Master Plan, approved up to $2,270,000 in Certificates of Obligation for street and utility improvements, endorsed funding support for the Woodridge Apartments affordable housing application, and handled several routine resolutions and ordinances; the council also met in executive session and took no action on matters discussed there.
