Kewanee City Council on Jan. 22, 2024 approved a slate of routine contracts, equipment purchases and a park engineering agreement and voted 3-1 to join an intergovernmental agreement with the Henry County Tourism Bureau after discussion about Kewanee’s share. The meeting included tourism and Chamber presentations and council communications about snow removal and recent water-main incidents.
