City Commission met April 20 in Traverse City to handle regular business: consent calendar approvals (events, contracts, traffic changes), heard a presentation and adopted a clean water SRF project plan and resolution, approved a pension contribution under the Protecting Local Government and Retirement Benefit Act, introduced stormwater ordinance amendments to comply with the new MS4 permit, and directed the city manager to explore a joint Carnegie Building occupancy between Crooked Tree Arts Center and Traverse Area District Library after extensive public comment.
