At its Jan. 12, 2026 regular meeting, the Bonham City Council approved two zoning ordinances (a two-tract rezoning and zoning-code amendments), unanimously nominated Gene Wise to a FCAD board vacancy, accepted the December financial report showing about an 11% sales-tax increase, heard several public comments on roads and business permitting, and adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
