At a Nov. 19, 2025 special meeting, the Florence City Council unanimously approved an audit engagement letter, joined the Texas Health Benefits Pool for 2026 employee coverage, approved multiple election early-voting dates at City Hall, and authorized Williamson County ESD #7 to perform specified fire inspections; the council tabled discussion of a part-time police officer.
