Brainerd City Council on Feb. 2, 2026 approved a 176-unit Voyagers Heights development (rezoning, development agreement and infrastructure upsizing), designated Gustoson Park as a city park after neighborhood pushback against development, authorized several procurement and design contracts (including a $380,000 design contract for a fire station renovation), and approved a $33,510 stormwater engineering study for a localized drainage easement.
