The City of West Columbia council unanimously advanced multiple zoning and ordinance items, approved a rezoning of a 12.57-acre parcel, authorized a mutual-aid agreement with the South Carolina Department of Social Services, appointed Fire Marshal Adam Harmon as municipal code enforcement officer, and adjourned into executive session to discuss water-customer legal matters and river-district economic development.
