At its Oct. 10, 2024 meeting, the Vinton City Council adopted a package of ordinances on third reading, accepted the West First Street reconstruction project, set a public hearing on a property sale, approved a tax-abatement request and several project payments and grant agreements, and discussed a proposed parking ordinance with an Oct. 1, 2024 effective date for establishing new parking spaces.
