The Clanton City Council met Feb. 23, 2026, heard two public-hearing items (an annexation and a rezoning), adopted three resolutions (street vacation, new School Resource Officer job description, month-to-month transit lease renewal) and received one public comment about nuisance items at Clanton Housing Authority. Several ordinances were read for first consideration and will return at a later meeting.
