Mayor called the April 14, 2026 meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., noted Councilman Rogers absent, and Councilwoman Hammonds led the invocation and pledge of allegiance.
The Midlothian City Council met April 14, 2026. Council approved several routine consent items and awarded contracts for sewer and water projects, approved an amended Planned Development for a Cook Children’s clinic after debate over design and color, adopted updates to the parks ordinance (keeping park hours at 11 p.m.), and approved the base package and a food-truck/plaza component of the Heritage Park/GMP while deferring a decision on decorative pavers for further safety review.
