At its April 20, 2026 meeting the Greenwood Board of Works and Safety approved an appeal waiving a $400 false-alarm invoice for a new hotel after the business and fire department reported fixes, approved track/road-closure requests for railroad work in July subject to detour review, released two sanitary-sewer maintenance bonds for a commercial subdivision, and approved a bundle of routine contracts, grants and project change orders.
