Fuquay Varina Town Board met April 21, 2026. The board proclaimed Arbor Day and accepted Tree City USA recognition, swore in six new firefighters, heard neighborhood public comments about high-school parking, approved a voluntary annexation for Phelps West Farms (ANX202602), increased parking violation fines and authorized a community meeting on a proposed no‑parking‑on‑school‑days plan for North Lakes, and adopted a resolution authorizing the town manager to implement the stage‑1 water shortage response plan.
