The Town of Waynesville council held a public hearing and voted to annex the western portion of a parcel at 192 Redcliffe Cove Road (Velwood Farms phase two). The meeting also approved state loan/grant applications for a regional water interconnect and wastewater resilience projects, authorized a sewer-main contract to serve affordable housing, set policy direction on event fees, and adopted a request for a rural fire-district tax increase.
