Jackson County Board of Commissioners approved two contracts — an end-user agreement with Accurate Background, LLC for employee background checks and a services contract with Universal Protection Service, LP dba Allied Universal for non-armed security at the Health and Human Services building — and heard a public request to consider declaring a local drought for the county.
