City of East Point Planning & Zoning Division held a virtual community zoning information meeting on April 14, 2026 to hear three land‑use petitions: a rezoning and concurrent variances for two Harrison Road parcels in the Eagan Park neighborhood; a variance for a single‑family build on Dodson Drive; and a use permit request to process used cooking oil at East Taylor Avenue. Neighbors raised drainage, traffic and density concerns; applicants answered questions. Next steps: Planning & Zoning meetings in May and city council work sessions/hearings in June.
