At its March 9, 2026 regular meeting, the Seat Pleasant City Council heard multiple public-safety complaints from residents about missing school-zone signage, sidewalk drainage and dim street lighting and directed staff to investigate and coordinate with Prince George’s County Public Schools. The council also approved emergency snow-removal service payments after debate over a $5,000 emergency approval cap and vendor payment delays.
