Quakertown Community SD held an Act 34 public hearing on a proposed new Quakertown Elementary School to present the project history, design options, cost estimates and financing plan; presenters said the Act 34 building cost ($48,546,230) is below the state aggregate threshold so no referendum is required and the recommended financing would require an estimated 6.72‑mill tax equivalent. The hearing drew no public comments and was adjourned.
