At its Feb. 27, 2023 regular meeting in Lindenhurst, the village board adopted a resolution opposing a proposed Illinois Department of Natural Resources fee for Lake Michigan water permit reviews and approved a 14‑month municipal electric aggregation agreement with MC2 that includes 25% renewable energy. Board members also reviewed the draft 2023 Capital Improvement Plan and results of the 2022 community survey; no public comment was offered.
