Berks County commissioners held a largely ceremonial meeting that included a ‘bring your child to work’ recognition, routine approvals of budget transfers, contracts and appointments, reports from the treasurer and controller, and a presentation about a planned regional juvenile detention approach that officials said could open in about two years.
