East Grand Forks City Council held a regular meeting on Sept. 16, 2025. The council approved a preliminary 2025 tax levy of $7,994,542 (staff described it as a 12% levy to be reduced before year-end), approved a 10-year amendment to Midco's cable franchise requiring undergrounding, authorized hiring for a public works truck driver, and set a Dec. 2 public budget meeting.
