At its Jan. 27, 2026 regular meeting, the Bedford City Council unanimously approved a consent agenda of grants, contracts and purchases, adopted a budget amendment covering street and utility project funding and event/tourism line items, awarded construction contracts for street and fire-station projects, ordered a May 2, 2026 general election for Council places 4 and 6, and recognized longtime city employees.
