Taylor City Council held a meeting and swearing-in ceremony April 23, 2026, during which members opened and closed a public hearing on the proposed 2026–27 budget, amended and approved a 24.8402-mill tax levy, approved a 1% property tax administration fee, adopted the general appropriation omnibus budget amendment, and conducted oath-of-office ceremonies for the mayor, treasurer, clerk and councilmembers.
