Elkhart County Board of Commissioners and the Elkhart County Stormwater Board met April 27, 2026. Commissioners approved routine bids, a vehicle-lease resolution and a fourth amendment to the county jail medical-services contract with Wellpath (3% CPI increase), approved a revised noise variance for Grace Community Church, and heard sustained public opposition to rezoning for the Riverbend Apartments. The Stormwater Board authorized adjusted 2026 stormwater user fees for up to 9,050 parcels and approved cost-share loans for septic replacements.
