Weatherford City Council and staff held a day-long retreat on 2025-04-17 to review the updated strategic plan, capital projects (fire station, parks, public works warehouse), water-treatment expansions and grant opportunities, mobility projects with TxDOT, animal-shelter renovations, downtown incentive programs, and housing/development policy. Council directed staff to continue negotiations and return with refined funding and code-change options.
