On Feb. 3, 2026 the Valparaiso Plan Commission approved a replat of Block 2 (605 Beach Street, the Bonta Center) and an associated alley vacation to enable the sale and conversion of the center to private residences; staff said parks will retain the northern green space and senior programming will continue for up to five years.
