Deputy Chief Fazzio and West Valley City police staff described a real-time crime center that began operating in January 2025 to give intelligence analysts immediate access to patrol calls via officers' body cameras and other camera feeds, improve investigations and officer safety, and generate about 200 investigative leads a year.
