The Nixa City Council on April 28, 2026 certified the April 7 municipal election and swore in elected officials, heard budget and staffing requests including a request to add three positions, approved a $20 million special-obligation bond ordinance for major water and wastewater projects, authorized Sucker Days alcohol sales on city property, and approved a $60,000 contract with Show Me Christian County for economic development.
