San Mateo City Sustainability and Infrastructure Commission heard a presentation and provided feedback on the 19th Avenue–Fashion Island Boulevard multimodal improvements project, which would add protected bike facilities, pedestrian upgrades and intersection changes and is funded largely by grants; design is due in June and construction funding is expected by year-end.
