A city staff member briefed the Plan Commission on updates to the parks and recreation plan, saying the plan will be submitted mid-summer and that commissioners will be asked in March to authorize a 30-day public review and a public hearing. The presenter noted outreach last occurred Oct. 9, the current plan expires in December, and the plan preserves eligibility for state grant programs.
